Senior GIS Solution Engineer – Airports

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Present, demonstrate, and assist in selling Esri software and solutions as an integral part of the account team.

• Aid in the planning and execution of sales strategies.

• Establish expertise in the airport industry and gain technical proficiency in ArcGIS.

• Engage with customers regarding Esri technologies and effectively communicate the Esri message.

• Anticipate customer requirements and stay updated on relevant technology trends.

• Develop and propose solutions that illustrate how GIS delivers business value.

• Define and implement strategies that align Esri technology with customer business objectives.

• Deliver technical demonstrations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Create presentations tailored for customer needs.

• Share best practices for utilizing, deploying, and managing Esri technology.

• Present at conferences and trade shows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with Esri technology, including map creation, spatial analysis, and web application configuration.

• At least 3 years of experience in or supporting the airport industry.

• Familiarity with ArcGIS from an IT perspective, covering hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.

• Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.

• Knowledge of sales and business development processes.

• Proficiency with geodatabases and associated DBMS technology.

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and environments, such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field.

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
