This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Interact with clients to grasp their requirements and provide guidance on suitable solution architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure alignment between client needs and solution design.
• Partner with Delivery Managers to supervise the architectural approach during the deployment of solutions.
• Investigate opportunities and innovative alternatives to discover effective solutions.
• Ensure that solutions are executed in accordance with client expectations and organizational standards.
• Identify, define, and select off-the-shelf components to fulfill client requirements.
• Offer continuous client support and advice throughout the implementation process.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles within the insurance sector, with experience across various lines of business.
• Proven experience in delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise setting.
• Capability to assist in defining and promoting a product/enterprise roadmap.
• Ability to convert client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.
• Knowledge of business architecture models and patterns.
• Experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions for business challenges.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications that ensure high availability and scalability.
• Proficiency in designing solutions within relational database and NoSQL environments.
• Experience in creating API- and microservices-centric environments.
• Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, decision-making, and judgment skills.
• Experience in relationship management with corporate clients.
• Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and at least two lines of business.
• Certification in an architecture discipline, such as TOGAF or Zachman, is a plus.
• Certification in a cloud environment is advantageous.
• High proficiency in English as the primary working language.
