This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data center networks for NVIDIA clients within the Plan, Design, & Implement framework.
• Enhance comprehensive technological solutions for key customers in the web2.0, cloud, HPC AI, and enterprise data center sectors.
• Identify areas for business technology enhancements and offer recommendations to marketing and engineering teams.
• Provide expertise in Ethernet and routing throughout project execution to design, architect, configure, and test networking solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on server infrastructure construction, accelerated computing tasks, and GPU-driven AI applications.
• Develop and assess DevOps automation scripts, create architectures, and establish switch fabric configurations.
• Execute network configuration and validation tasks for data centers.
• Generate Methods of Procedure and deployment documentation.
• Validate network architectures and configurations within the lab environment.
• Create and tailor network automation scripts to meet customer requirements utilizing AI tools.
• Engage directly with clients to gather requirements and design optimal solutions.
• Utilize software and AI tools to validate and monitor network performance.
• Produce project handover documents for clients.
• Travel to customer data centers for initial configuration tasks, up to 20% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, switching, routing, and data center architecture.
• More than 3 years of practical experience in designing and constructing network fabrics for scalable data center compute clusters, including CLOS and spine-leaf architectures.
• At least 2 years of strong expertise in BGP, VxLAN, and EVPN for network design and troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience in Ethernet, TCP/IP, switching, and routing.
• Over 2 years of advanced network troubleshooting using packet sniffers and analysis tools.
• At least 2 years of experience in Linux administration and computer hardware architecture.
• Minimum of 1 year of direct customer engagement experience in network requirement gathering, analysis, project planning, and deployment.
• At least 1 year of experience in network automation using Ansible, Salt, and Python scripting.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to independently prioritize tasks while functioning as a team player.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% and work non-standard hours as required.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA Air, GNS3, or EVE-NG.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar tools for network and server management.
• Personal Git repository showcasing examples of Python coding skills.
