Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +6 more locations.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions to identify customer requirements, infrastructure limitations, and modernization objectives.

• Act as the reliable technical expert during client discussions.

• Collaborate with Account Executives on AWS co-selling initiatives.

• Create Well-Architected AWS reference diagrams that encompass GenAI, data platforms, and agentic workflows.

• Develop strategies for cloud migration and database modernization utilizing rehosting, replatforming, or refactoring frameworks.

• Assess implementation risks, application sequencing, and adherence to security/compliance standards.

• Generate AWS cost estimates using the AWS Pricing Calculator.

• Compose technical scopes, implementation timelines, delivery assumptions, Statements of Work (SOWs), and client proposals.

• Offer technical insights for AWS funding programs.

• Work alongside internal engineering teams to evaluate solution feasibility and ensure delivery alignment.

• Perform technical handoffs to delivery teams, including documented architectures, migration assumptions, and risk logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Cloud Architect position within a consulting setting.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, particularly in AI/ML (Bedrock, SageMaker), data platforms (Redshift, Glue), and migration services.

• Demonstrated ability to formulate SOWs, compute AWS pricing models, and articulate complex architectural trade-offs to executive stakeholders.

• Current AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification is preferred.
