Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Integrate Fastly into the onboarding systems of new customers.

• Design and develop technical solutions utilizing Fastly with VCL, Go, Rust, or JavaScript.

• Provide guidance to existing customers on additional features and performance optimization.

• Create and deliver training materials for customers and internal teams.

• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to construct proof of concepts for potential clients.

• Act as the subject matter expert for the Fastly Delivery and Compute platform.

• Assist with service onboarding, configuration migrations, traffic go-lives, training, and continuous application integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in CDN and WAF technologies, including their configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.

• In-depth understanding of HTTP and web application implementation.

• Capability to troubleshoot TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and TLS.

• Basic programming knowledge and experience with projects developed in Go, JavaScript, or Rust.

• Experience in a customer-facing technical consulting role.

• Background in project management, including requirement analysis, solution design and documentation, and successful project delivery.

• Proven experience in creating training materials and mentoring junior team members.

• Availability during core business hours.

• Must reside in the Pacific timezone (PST) or Mountain timezone (MST).
