Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide technical responses to customer RFPs and create innovative solutions through collaboration across various business units.

• Manage the complete telecommunications and information technology architecture for enterprise-wide system solutions and services.

• Collect customer requirements and convert business needs into technical system solutions.

• Conduct architectural design, testing, implementation, documentation, and ensure supportability.

• Create technology solutions for customers utilizing best engineering practices and industry-standard products and technologies.

• Oversee or lead the transition from existing to new network and telecommunications design solutions.

• Offer technical guidance and engineering expertise for network and telecommunications systems infrastructure activities.

• Plan, design, and implement the communication and network infrastructure requirements.

• Create work breakdown structures and assess levels of effort for opportunity capture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead role or in a capacity related to solutions/enterprise architecture.

• Minimum of 5 years supporting Enterprise clients or Carrier Companies that serve Enterprise clients.

• A solid understanding of the telecom and IT infrastructure business.

• Extensive technical expertise in managing and manipulating telemetry for cybersecurity solutions and/or IT/software solutions concerning performance, behavior, and user experience.

• Practical technical knowledge or experience in data transport services and technologies, including IP, MPLS, Ethernet, OTN, DWDM, and SDWAN.

• Familiarity with both basic and advanced networking appliances and concepts.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as autonomous networking, SDN, NFV, Cloud, DevOps, SecDevOps, and Managed Security Services.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as Salesforce.com.

• Adaptability and capability to thrive in dynamic and uncertain environments.

• High proficiency in technical writing, particularly in proposal writing.

• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.

• An active SECRET Security Clearance or higher is required.
