This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in hands-on development across the complete cloud technology stack.
• Make strategic architectural decisions while acting as the main technical liaison for clients and U.S. FinTech leadership.
• Deliver scalable and secure securitization platforms while upholding high engineering standards.
• Construct highly scalable distributed solutions.
• Develop features and infrastructure to meet emerging business and project needs.
• Design and implement APIs, data models, and communication protocols.
• Engineer cloud infrastructure to enhance application security, performance, uptime, and scalability.
• Assess technology challenges related to cloud infrastructure, resiliency, performance, vulnerability management, technology lifecycle, observability, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Modernize Technology Governance through automation, data analytics, and AI.
• Establish governance frameworks for emerging technologies, including AI.
• Maintain code quality and adhere to application design standards.
• Drive technical direction and make platform architecture decisions.
• Lead technical design discussions and promote engineering best practices.
• Identify defects and enhance code quality.
• Develop executive business cases for large-scale, long-term enhancements.
• Act as the final line of technical support and escalation.
• Primarily work with Java, SQL, TypeScript, React, and JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Design and implement SQL, GraphQL APIs, and AWS serverless architecture.
• Create infrastructure-as-code utilizing AWS CDK and SAM.
• Leverage AI tools to facilitate development and product enablement.
• Participate in agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Provide strategic oversight of budget and resource planning.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and support the successful delivery of initiatives.
• Represent the engineering team to client organizations and U.S. FinTech leadership.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams.
• Ensure business continuity and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 10 years of experience in developing large-scale software applications.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an AWS environment.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience in creating infrastructure-as-code (preferably AWS CDK/SAM).
• Experience in building web applications (experience with React is a plus).
• Experience in designing and developing relational database transactional applications.
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience with AWS serverless architecture and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI development tools (e.g., Amazon Q Developer/Kiro) and AI services (e.g., Amazon Bedrock).
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience in unit and integration testing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to mentor and nurture engineering talent.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies.
• Successful completion of a background investigation, which may also include a credit check.
