Solutions Architect, Quality and Improvements

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive solution design and development for utility clients, which includes requirement analysis, discussions on customer journey scope, data integration, application of machine learning algorithms, design, solution architecture, implementation, and resolving customer-facing technical issues.

• Act as a cross-functional subject matter expert by leveraging product knowledge and conducting gap analyses to align utility customer needs with product features, ultimately finalizing necessary customizations.

• Provide deep technical guidance to Technical Program Managers and Delivery Managers throughout the project lifecycle, from requirement analysis to launch.

• Directly manage selected customer engagements utilizing Customer Onboarding processes and tools.

• Define and oversee the technical gate process that Technical Program Managers adhere to for each project.

• Evaluate new product performance, test cases, project plans, and risk mitigation strategies from contract signing through launch.

• Coordinate and facilitate communication between Product Management and implementation project teams regarding issues and risks that may impact new product launches.

• Establish and maintain structures for continuous improvement in technical implementations and product solutions.

• Conduct feedback and collaboration sessions with other Solution Architects to enhance implementation quality and inform Technical Program Manager training.

• Train and mentor Technical Program Managers and other Customer Onboarding team members on technical methodologies and product capabilities.

• Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Senior Technical Program Managers, global Delivery, and Product Development to ensure technically sound and timely implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.

• 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in developing and driving solution architecture for cloud-based B2B implementations.

• Proven success in designing and delivering system architecture, implementation, and deployment of effective solutions in customer-facing roles with large enterprises.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of building relationships with diverse global business and IT stakeholders across various time zones.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented approach to communication and conflict resolution.

• Highly organized with an exceptional attention to detail and outstanding time management skills across multiple concurrent projects.

• Eagerness and capability to stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies, and to effectively share that knowledge with key decision-makers.

• Experience in pre-sales activities, such as developing technical content for proposals and shortlist presentations.

• Working knowledge of programming tools like Java, Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, and REST services.

• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Knowledge and experience in the utility industry.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
