Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Transform regional legal and regulatory directives into functional requirements for the Core Network team.

• Facilitate requirement discovery workshops with local Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), regulatory bodies, and internal teams.

• Analyze local regulatory demands in comparison to platform capabilities and pinpoint enhancements, trade-offs, and phased delivery opportunities.

• Develop high-level technical workflows and flowcharts for regulatory services including Mobile Number Portability (MNP) and Lawful Interception.

• Establish business rules and data exchange requirements for Number Portability, voice/SMS routing, edge cases, and exception management.

• Specify data points and reporting frequencies mandated by local authorities.

• Oversee acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and sign-off prerequisites for country-specific regulatory implementations.

• Administer technical-regulatory checklists across various countries and proactively escalate risks.

• Collaborate with local central databases and external partners regarding interworking specifications and integration milestones.

• Coach Solution Analysts and cross-functional delivery teams on user stories, functional specifications, and traceability.

• Offer functional leadership to development teams by clarifying intent, reviewing stories and acceptance criteria, and aiding in solution design decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, ideally within the Telecom or Tech sectors.

• Capability to distill complex regulatory documents into actionable engineering tasks.

• Technical expertise in SIP, SMS routing, and MNP databases.

• Proficient in drafting User Stories and Functional Specifications, as well as managing Jira tickets.

• Background or strong interest in international roaming, interconnectivity, and global telecommunications markets.

• Ability to produce structured technical documentation and process flowcharts.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.

• Proficiency in liaising between legal, product, and engineering teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Previous experience with MVNO or Mobile Core is a plus.

• Familiarity with GSMA standards and eSIM technology is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Lawful Interception and regional compliance reporting is beneficial.
