This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and construct architectural solutions that effectively convert business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical implementations.

• Engage in assessments and architecture definition, overseeing implementation within teams.

• Provide support for various initiatives within the Finance Business Unit.

• Counsel clients on architectural strategies and advocate for the strategic utilization of Sensedia solutions, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and AI.

• Facilitate architecture assessments, workshops, discovery sessions, and decision-making discussions with both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Architect solutions for APIs, microservices, integrations, and event-driven architectures.

• Establish strategies concerning security, governance, observability, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

• Assist teams during implementation by reviewing code, API agreements, and gateway setups.

• Produce diagrams, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), roadmaps, and technical documentation.

• Identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and manage solutions through to production deployment.

• Create solutions that incorporate AI, AI Gateway, Large Language Models (LLMs), and agentic architectures.

• Contribute to pre-sales activities, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and proof-of-concept projects.

• Disseminate knowledge and mentor junior professionals.

• Collaborate across multiple projects within the Business Unit.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technology experience with a proven history in solution architecture and integration projects.

• Strong expertise in REST API design and lifecycle management, including OpenAPI, contracts, versioning, pagination, idempotency, and error handling.

• Hands-on experience with API Management or API Gateway solutions such as Sensedia, Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or WSO2.

• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and various integration patterns.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, or Pub/Sub.

• Understanding of API security and identity management including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and secret management.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, including operational management and troubleshooting.

• Proficient with at least one cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of at least one backend programming language, such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Node.js, Python, or C#.

• Experience leading assessments, workshops, discovery sessions, and technical discussions with clients.

• Capability to communicate technical decisions to both technical and business audiences.

• Functional knowledge of LLMs, AI solutions, and agentic architectures.

• Awareness of major AI security risks including prompt injection, data leakage, and excessive agent authorization.

• Competent and critical use of AI assistants in engineering and architectural tasks.

• Excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, autonomy, proactivity, and a strong sense of ownership.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to client locations.

• Preferred qualifications include: legacy system modernization, Infrastructure as Code/GitOps, observability, data architecture, technical certifications, pre-sales experience, AI Gateway/LLM Gateway, RAG, multi-agent systems, AI frameworks, FinOps, involvement in technical communities, and mentoring.
