Solutions Architect – AI Factory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Spearhead technical discovery sessions with customer architects, engineers, and executives to comprehend business objectives, AI/HPC workloads, performance specifications, security limitations, and deployment contexts.

• Architect comprehensive AI Factory solutions that encompass compute, networking, storage, cluster management, and workload orchestration.

• Assist customers in adopting NVIDIA's complete platform stack.

• Conduct proof-of-concepts, workshops, technical enablement sessions, demonstrations, and architectural solution reviews to demonstrate both technical and business value, thereby expediting customer adoption.

• Collaborate with sales account managers to define technical strategies, assess opportunities, formulate solution proposals, and achieve customer successes.

• Oversee technical design reviews, create bills of materials, formulate deployment plans, conduct readiness assessments, and coordinate handoffs to implementation and operations teams.

• Establish and cultivate trusted technical relationships with engineers, architects, IT leaders, and executives at pivotal customer accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in senior technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, AI/ML Platform Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar positions.

• Proven history of designing, deploying, or managing AI and HPC infrastructure at an enterprise scale.

• In-depth technical knowledge in several areas including datacenter infrastructure, distributed systems, high-performance networking, storage, cluster management, AI/HPC workload orchestration, and GPU-accelerated computing.

• Experience in leading technical discovery, architecture workshops, proof-of-concepts, performance validation, and delivering executive-level technical presentations.

• Strong collaborative skills across teams, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Significant experience working with enterprise customers in South Africa.

• Willingness to travel across Africa as needed.

• Proficiency in professional French or other languages is a plus.

• Practical experience with the NVIDIA AI Factory stack.

• Expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems utilized in AI Factory construction, including cooling infrastructure, power distribution, and plumbing systems.
