This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted advisor by aligning client business priorities, operational challenges, IT models, technology roadmaps, support needs, and transformation objectives with New Era’s Managed Services offerings.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Directors to discover, qualify, and advance opportunities in managed services.
• Facilitate structured discovery processes for managed services.
• Propel recurring revenue growth and managed services integration across various domains including cloud, cybersecurity, collaboration/CX, networking, infrastructure, Microsoft/CSP, endpoint, data center, lifecycle, observability, and professional services.
• Lead consultative conversations with executive stakeholders.
• Formulate executive-level value propositions linked to quantifiable business results.
• Construct ROI, TCO, and business-case justifications.
• Collaborate with solution architects, service delivery teams, operations, finance, sales leadership, and technology partners.
• Clarify post-close operating models, covering onboarding, SLAs, ticketing, escalation pathways, portals, reporting, governance, QBRs, and continuous improvement.
• Develop account-level managed services growth strategies and pinpoint expansion and wallet-share opportunities.
• Position managed services as strategic business enablers across service desk, infrastructure, cloud, network, communications, security, observability, and end-user support.
• Mentor sales teams on discovery, qualification, attach strategy, financial value communication, objection resolution, and outcome-based positioning.
• Create repeatable discovery frameworks, communication tracks, customer materials, objection-handling guides, value narratives, and attach strategies.
• Foster strategic technology-partner relationships and collaborative go-to-market initiatives.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitive offerings, consumption models, AI-driven operations, automation technologies, and buying behaviors.
• Over 5 years of experience in Managed Services, IT Services, Technical Sales, Services Consulting, Customer Success, or Service Delivery leadership.
• Proven experience in leading strategic customer engagements and technology transformation projects.
• Demonstrated capability in developing account expansion strategies and programs for recurring revenue growth.
• Highly skilled in AI tools and their implementation in customer engagement, operational efficiency, and service delivery optimization.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled operations, automation platforms, predictive analytics, AIOps, and contemporary managed services delivery models.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence CIOs, CFOs, COOs, CTOs, CEOs, IT Directors, and other senior business stakeholders.
• Proven success in leading structured discovery encompassing business pain points, operational risks, decision-making processes, stakeholder alignment, competitive dynamics, financial implications, and readiness for change.
• Strong expertise in value-based selling, MEDDPIC qualification, ROI/TCO analysis, business-case development, and alignment with executive stakeholders.
• Experience driving revenue in a pre-sales, overlay, consulting, managed services, or strategic advisory capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of managed services business models, service delivery frameworks, governance, and recurring revenue strategies.
• Ability to position managed services across cloud, cybersecurity, networking, collaboration/CX, infrastructure, Microsoft/CSP, endpoint, data center, observability, lifecycle, and professional services solutions.
• Capability to translate technical service capabilities and operational models into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of ITIL, service management, customer success, and operational governance frameworks.
• Experience in developing ROI models, TCO analyses, operational model comparisons, and financial justifications for the adoption of managed services.
• Capacity to align sales, architecture, delivery, operations, finance, customer success, and partner resources around customer pursuits.
• Excellent communication skills and commercial insight.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and influence sales teams and executives without direct authority.
• Skill in creating field-ready sales assets, discovery frameworks, customer presentations, enablement materials, and reproducible managed services attach strategies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• The ideal candidate would be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
• Anticipated domestic travel of around 20-25%.
• Preferred: experience with an MSP, Systems Integrator, or Global Systems Integrator.
• Preferred: experience in developing recurring revenue strategies and managed services go-to-market initiatives.
• Preferred: familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, customer experience frameworks, and best practices in service operations.
• Preferred: experience with cloud operations platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Preferred: experience with automation, AIOps, observability, and digital experience monitoring platforms.
• Preferred: working knowledge of networking, cloud, collaboration, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and end-user computing technologies.
