Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide support to the sales team throughout the entire sales process as the subject-matter expert and technical liaison.

• Assess customer needs, business processes, and opportunities for digitization.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and conduct requirements analyses.

• Create customized solution concepts for both prospects and customers.

• Prepare and present product demonstrations, live demos, and assist during the testing phase.

• Showcase procurement, accounts payable, and banking solutions to business units and decision-makers.

• Collaborate with customers, partners, and the sales team to develop business cases and ROI analyses.

• Assist with tenders (RFPs/RFIs) and the proposal processes.

• Work closely with Product Management to communicate market and customer needs.

• Aid the Customer Success team in addressing complex customer inquiries.

• Engage in trade shows, customer events, and webinars.

• Continuously enhance demo environments, presentations, and solution consulting materials.

• Design, plan, and execute internal enablement initiatives along with related materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in solution consulting, pre-sales, consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.

• Strong background in software solutions within a SaaS environment.

• Ideally, expertise in Procure-to-Pay, procurement, invoice processing, ERP, finance, or payments.

• Ability to clearly and persuasively present complex topics.

• Experience in conducting workshops, demos, customer presentations, and internal training.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Analytical mindset with a structured approach.

• High level of customer orientation and consulting skills.

• Technical comprehension and enthusiasm for digital business processes.

• Team player who enjoys collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Customer Success teams.

• Fluent in German (business/negotiation level).

• Very good command of English.
