This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Set and achieve sales and profit objectives for the designated region.
• Ensure pricing is competitive and aligned with market standards.
• Conduct a sufficient number of direct sales calls to achieve the desired regional expansion.
• Market and sell the full range of the company’s product offerings within the industry.
• Collaborate with and enhance the distribution network.
• Provide management with insights for enhancing sales and profitability.
• Generate work reports and forecasts as needed.
• Coordinate sales initiatives with technical support engineers, executives, representatives, and distributors.
• Report on activities related to strategic accounts in a timely manner.
• Specify and communicate product requirements to the technical team.
• Collaborate with technical support staff to assess materials and offer technical guidance and troubleshooting for products/processes.
• Discover new applications and opportunities for current products.
• Submit expense reports promptly.
• Conduct training sessions on existing and new technologies for customers, distributors, and representatives.
• Engage with customer service, credit, and quality assurance teams as necessary.
• Participate in company sales meetings and industry trade exhibitions.
• Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, rules, and relevant local and national laws and regulations.
• Report directly to the Managing Director of PAI-AIM Solder (India).
• Fluent in spoken and written English, as well as Hindi and the local language.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, or a Post-Graduate Diploma/Degree (PGD) or Post-Graduate Degree (PGDip) in Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of sales management experience, ideally in the solder industry or consumable materials for the electronics sector, or otherwise in the electronics industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• A genuine passion for sales and a results-driven mindset.
• Willingness and capability to travel frequently, with at least 50% of time spent traveling within the territory.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Energetic, collaborative team player with a positive outlook.
