Software Tester / QA Analyst – Smart Grid Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold test cases for both new and existing features of the Smart Grid platform.

• Conduct feature, regression, and release testing.

• Clearly document test outcomes in a manner that is traceable.

• Evaluate requirements for their testability, completeness, and potential risks.

• Early in the development process, identify missing information, test data needs, and potential risks.

• Clearly and systematically describe defects and assist in their tracking until resolution.

• Collaborate closely with development, product management, support, and project teams.

• Clarify technical inquiries, testing scope, and release-related risks.

• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and quality standards.

• Assist in ensuring accurate test and product documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably with SaaS, B2B platforms, web applications, or complex domain software.

• A university degree, vocational training, or an equivalent qualification in a technical or IT-related discipline.

• A solid understanding of test design, execution, and software quality assessment.

• A structured, meticulous, and traceable approach to work, particularly regarding the documentation of test results and defects.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• An interest in energy networks, smart grids, and the domain context of the platform.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Ability to articulate technical and domain-specific content with clarity.

• Must reside in or have work authorization for Germany or Austria.

• Initial experience with API testing or test automation is advantageous but not mandatory.
