Senior Manual Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies to estimate, plan, and document detailed testing strategies, scenarios, and quality assurance standards.

• Conduct manual functional, exploratory, cross-system integration, and accessibility testing across web, mobile, analytics, and hardware firmware.

• Implement and evaluate automated test suites.

• Collaborate with developers and Release Management to oversee test environments.

• Diagnose defects, provide precise details, validate corrections, and deliver Production approvals.

• Assess Major Incidents and Emergency Changes to enhance test automation.

• Relay QA metrics to team members effectively.

• Prepare automated test suites for transition to Reliability and NOC teams for operational validation.

• Manage the complete Quality Assurance lifecycle across mobile, web, analytics, and hardware firmware environments.

• Share test plans, metrics, and results with stakeholders.

• Contribute to QA standards, release approvals, and transitions to Reliability and NOC teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in crafting test strategies, plans, and executing tests for web and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with QA for eCommerce, Point of Sale, and Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.

• Experience in QA for mobile websites and native mobile applications (iOS, Android, Windows).

• Proficiency in testing backend applications and APIs developed in Java/C# with SQL, NoSQL, ActiveMQ, and caching technologies such as Hazelcast.

• Experience in testing web UI applications across various browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome) and operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS).

• Solid understanding of network topologies and technologies.

• Strong background in SQL and familiarity with data management practices.

• Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the bachelor’s degree.
