This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Conduct functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for both new and existing software applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and documentation based on business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and sustain automated test scripts to enhance testing coverage, efficiency, and repeatability.
• Run automated test suites and support continuous testing efforts utilizing established testing frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to comprehend requirements and outline test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, track, and validate software defects through resolution and retesting processes.
• Assist with testing activities pertaining to system integrations, data validation, and enterprise application interoperability.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
• Aid in test environment setup, test data management, release validation, and deployment readiness activities.
• Contribute to process enhancements, automation initiatives, and quality assurance best practices that bolster product reliability and team effectiveness.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least five (5) years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or similar technical roles.
• Proficient in both manual and automated testing across enterprise applications.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance best practices.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and defect management processes.
• Experience in executing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Capability to design, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to software quality.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Preferred: Experience in integrating automated testing capabilities into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity with API testing tools and service validation techniques.
• Preferred: Knowledge of performance, load, or scalability testing methods and tools.
• Preferred: Experience supporting cloud-hosted applications, especially within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Preferred: Experience testing enterprise business systems and complex application integrations.
