Software Project Manager, Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee both internal and external resources to guarantee that professional services engagements are completed successfully, punctually, and within the allocated budget.

• Assist clients in onboarding, adopting, and expanding their use of Procore while delivering outstanding value and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with Professional Services Consultants, Technical Teams, Sales, Product, and Customer Success Engineers to implement client onboarding and service engagements.

• Strategically plan, execute, and monitor projects while providing guidance and thought leadership.

• Define execution strategies that encompass discovery and design workshops, Gantt project plans, resource management, risk tracking, reporting, and change management.

• Work closely with client contacts, technical leadership, Account Managers, and Customer Success to execute tailored Statements of Work and onboarding strategies.

• Act as the services delivery expert during pre-sales engagements.

• Create and implement repeatable processes and templates to enhance efficiency and standardization.

• Manage timelines and project plans across multiple workstreams to ensure timely delivery.

• Take ownership of strategic delivery for one-time projects or scaled Statements of Work while supporting account growth initiatives.

• Generate reports on project progress, budgets, and risks utilizing Procore’s internal systems.

• Ensure proactive and clear communication with Procore clients.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Procore products, business models, emerging technologies, and best practices in professional services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing or supporting large-scale professional services delivery.

• Demonstrated experience leading over 20 concurrent projects successfully in a dynamic environment.

• Strong expertise in creating and managing Gantt project schedules, documenting business outcomes, forecasting resources, and maintaining RAID logs.

• Experience overseeing complex projects across web and mobile applications for document management, project management, or similar platforms.

• Proven success in managing professional services projects worth $100K or more, while effectively controlling scope and margins.

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid SaaS project management methodologies.

• A strategic thinker with excellent critical thinking skills, high attention to detail, and a profound understanding of value drivers and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Highly proactive, organized, and adaptable with a natural talent for innovation, persuading stakeholders, and driving projects to completion with an optimistic outlook.

• Willingness to travel for client on-site meetings and company events (up to 30–40% of the time).
