Software Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Develop, oversee, execute, and continually assess the project plan utilizing automated project management tools and methodologies.

• Create, sustain, and convey detailed project launch strategies.

• Monitor deliverables, milestones, resource distribution, and dependencies among cross-functional teams.

• Proactively identify potential issues, explore alternative plans, and manage escalations effectively.

• Direct successful solution deployment and ensure a smooth transition to Support and Success teams.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, channel partners, subcontractors, and internal personnel.

• Deliver regular, clear, and transparent status updates.

• Organize and lead both internal and external customer meetings.

• Navigate organizational complexities, influence stakeholders, and negotiate effectively to guarantee project success.

• Comprehend and articulate the business and financial ramifications of project decisions and results.

• Collaborate with provisioning and product teams to improve tools, processes, and methodologies.

• Evaluate program data, identify project risks, propose data-driven solutions, and create action plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience with SaaS solutions.

• Bachelor's Degree is mandatory; a Master's Degree is advantageous.

• Proven experience in successfully managing and leading agile projects within a highly matrixed organizational environment.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

• Capability to articulate the overarching strategy while fostering trust with leaders across departments.

• Skilled in creating project documentation.

• Familiarity with cloud-based document management systems.

• Experience with Public Safety communications systems and a solid understanding of local public safety clientele is a significant advantage.

• PMP, PMP-ACP, or equivalent agile certifications are highly sought after.

• Experience with Monday.com, Salesforce, or Zendesk is a plus.

• Associate's degree.

• At least 5+ years of experience in SaaS solutions and/or public safety technologies.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
