Software Product Manager – Engineering & Development, Associate Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Define, prioritize, and supervise the creation of software products.

• Serve as a liaison between the market, customers, and the development team.

• Establish the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with company objectives.

• Ensure clear product requirements are maintained and coordinate delivery with the Engineering team.

• Set and uphold metrics to gauge success.

• Perform market research and analyze competitors.

• Collect customer feedback to comprehend market demands and pinpoint opportunities.

• Convert market requirements into product specifications and user stories.

• Prioritize features based on business value and customer impact.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other departments.

• Oversee the complete product lifecycle from inception to end-of-life.

• Plan development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance activities.

• Monitor product performance through key metrics.

• Utilize data-driven insights to enhance the product.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Generally requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field and at least 10 years of experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in product management and/or software development.

• Familiarity with software development processes, technologies, and architectures.

• Knowledge of market trends, business models, and financial implications.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to analyze complex issues, make informed decisions, and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in gathering and analyzing data to identify trends, assess performance, and drive product enhancements.

• Willingness to participate in select interview phases in person if requested.
