This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Support development teams with everyday technical and architectural inquiries
• Collaborate with senior IT leadership and business stakeholders on technical issues
• Design and enhance multi-service .NET architectures on Azure, which include web APIs, workers, messaging, and data layers
• Make platform choices across Azure compute, data, messaging, identity, and observability services
• Establish and uphold standards for clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Convert clinical and business objectives into a sustainable technical strategy with product and engineering leadership
• Promote secure-by-default practices for authentication, data management, and external integrations
• Evaluate designs and code to boost quality, performance, and clarity
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers
• Develop and promote AI-first coding methodologies
• Participate in and lead proof-of-concept projects
• Lead and engage in the Architectural Guild
• Create and maintain enterprise frameworks, tools, and platforms for software development teams
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to eliminate development hurdles
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT infrastructure to create cohesive system designs
• Develop turnkey solutions when commercial off-the-shelf options are not available or practical
• Produce technical diagrams and documentation
• Evaluate current technologies and assist in defining a technical roadmap
• Conduct training sessions for development staff as required
• Capability to type at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy preferred
• Willingness to travel as necessary preferred
• Ability to talk, hear, sit for extended periods, type, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Proficiency in designing multi-service .NET systems on Azure
• Understanding of Azure compute, data, messaging, identity, and observability services
• Familiarity with authentication, data management, and external integrations
• Skill in diagnosing complex technical problems
• Competence in creating technical diagrams and documentation
• Successful completion of a background check and, depending on the role, a drug screening
