This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
β’ Define and implement the technological vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Claims and Intelligence Solutions platforms.
β’ Lead strategic technology initiatives across operational excellence, platform modernization, and enterprise transformation projects.
β’ Oversee the execution of complex, cross-functional programs involving product development, engineering, operations, and business teams.
β’ Collaborate with business, operations, and technology leaders to prioritize investments and achieve measurable results.
β’ Establish frameworks for execution, governance, and accountability to ensure reliable delivery and operational resilience.
β’ Advocate for API-first design, cloud-native solutions, event-driven architectures, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, and AI-enhanced software development.
β’ Lead the planning of the portfolio, investment strategy, and annual budgeting processes.
β’ Create business cases, investment strategies, and plans for realizing value.
β’ Monitor financial performance, benefit realization, cost efficiency, and return on investment metrics.
β’ Enhance portfolio transparency through planning, forecasting, resource management, and executive reporting.
β’ Act as a senior technology partner to Claims Operations and business leadership.
β’ Build partnerships across business and technology to accelerate innovation and enhance operational efficiency.
β’ Over 15 years of engineering leadership experience in delivering scalable and resilient technology platforms while spearheading enterprise modernization and transformation initiatives.
β’ Extensive knowledge of healthcare claims and provider technologies.
β’ Proven ability to manage complex portfolios and drive cross-functional execution across business, operations, and technology sectors.
β’ Strong executive presence, strategic thinking capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
β’ Competence in influencing stakeholders, guiding investment decisions, and translating technical strategy into business value.
β’ Experience within healthcare payer organizations, with knowledge of claims processing platforms, provider ecosystems, and regulatory environments.
β’ Background in driving modernization through cloud transformation, AI capabilities, automation, and enterprise technology transformation programs.
β’ Proven track record of building high-performing, AI-enabled engineering teams.
β’ Strong business and financial acumen.
β’ Access to home internet via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed if working from home.
