This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, design, and customers to define what to develop and how to approach it
• Transform ambiguous requirements into precise technical plans and modify them as necessary
• Conceive, construct, and deploy production features across APIs, data models, services, and user interfaces
• Make architectural decisions that balance the need for immediate speed with long-term maintainability
• Develop AI-driven functionalities, including large language model features, retrieval, agents, and tool-calling flows with defined permissions and failure recovery mechanisms
• Create evaluations based on actual user inquiries prior to the deployment of prompts or model alterations
• Safeguard AI functionalities against prompt injections, personal data leaks, and fabricated responses
• Ensure production stability through monitoring, tracing, debugging, and resolving reliability, cost, and latency challenges
• Utilize AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor while ensuring quality, testing, and reliability
• Elevate engineering standards through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and enhancements to workflows
• Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, delivering customer-facing products in a production setting
• Solid full-stack expertise: Python (FastAPI or similar), React and TypeScript, relational databases and SQL, and deploying containerized services to the cloud
• Proficient in system design: data modeling, API design, and developing production systems that remain dependable, fast, and secure as they scale
• Practical experience in delivering LLM-powered features: context engineering, prompts, retrieval, tools, memory, evaluations, model failure management, and AI system architecture
• AI-native workflow that utilizes tests as a safeguard and assesses AI output
• Strong product intuition
• High emotional intelligence and capability to maintain stakeholder trust
• Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently in uncertain situations
