Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack functionalities: APIs and services in Node.js (NestJS) and user interfaces in React.

• Model, optimize, and manage schemas in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), ensuring integrity, performance, and scalability.

• Build and integrate secure and well-documented APIs (REST/GraphQL/gRPC).

• Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and handling sensitive data.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams to define and deliver new functionalities.

• Translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and production monitoring.

• Participate in architectural decisions, identifying technical debt and proposing continuous improvements.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team.

• Design, build, and scale Cashea's financial products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a full stack engineer developing software in production environments.

• Proficiency in Node.js for backend development (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks).

• Expertise in React for frontend development: hooks, state management, performance, and best practices for components.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases: schema design, complex SQL queries, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.

• Experience in designing and integrating APIs and services in distributed architectures.

• Familiarity with automated testing (unit and integration) and CI/CD workflows with Git.

• Intermediate English proficiency (B1-B2) for technical documentation and occasional communication.

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Knowledge of REST API design and service integration patterns.

• Experience with containers and application deployment (Docker or similar).

• Adherence to security best practices in development: credential management, data validation, and protection of sensitive information.

• Autonomy and ownership throughout the development process.

• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical profiles.

• Ability to balance delivery speed with technical quality.

• Capacity to collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations teams.
