This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Develop, enhance, and sustain cloud-based applications that drive the platform.
• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and provide support for software across various products and technology stacks.
• Engage throughout the software development lifecycle, which includes technical design, implementation, testing, code review, deployment, and production support.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver new features.
• Address production issues and continually improve system performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code, create automated tests, and produce technical documentation.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
• Construct resilient distributed systems with a focus on performance, fault tolerance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Rigorously test personal code and review as well as test code created by other engineers.
• Contribute to multiple products and codebases.
• At least 3–5 years of experience with one or more modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience; 6+ years for Senior Software Engineer positions.
• Experience in building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, or comparable services.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of Git-based development workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar.
• Skills in monitoring and troubleshooting production systems.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog or Amazon CloudWatch.
• Passion for AI-assisted software development.
• Interest in tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience working with real-time databases.
• Strong academic background; a CS degree is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Capability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
