Software Engineer – Platform, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of how services operate in production, encompassing Kubernetes controllers and reconcilers.

• Develop pipelines that collect, normalize, and archive identity and security event data at scale suitable for production.

• Design and create high-availability, distributed systems tailored for enterprise-level workloads.

• Construct developer tools, including CI/CD processes, local development environments, and onboarding documentation.

• Manage the GCP environment, focusing on networking and storage aspects.

• Oversee the observability stack, which includes metrics, alerting, and request tracing functionalities.

• Uphold the secure-by-design product principle at the platform level in collaboration with security engineering teams.

• Engage with product and design teams from the initial stages and contribute to various aspects of the technology stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure/platform engineering with a focus on production-grade Go.

• Expertise in writing production-level Go code.

• A software engineering background with robust platform capabilities, rather than a “point-and-click” / DevOps role.

• Experience in managing Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines within a production environment.

• Proven experience in the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with GCP or a comparable hyperscaler, including networking, storage, and compute services.

• Knowledge of Terraform, observability tools, Postgres, PKI, or compliance infrastructure.

• Experience working in an early-stage startup or building a platform from the ground up.

• Background in Enterprise SaaS or relevant software domains.

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Additional experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, identity/access management infrastructure, or compliance standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 is a plus.
