📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the platform that underpins Resend, delivering dependable infrastructure and tools.

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, mainly using AWS, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.

• Automate operational tasks and create self-service workflows.

• Set platform standards and practices for uniform service development, deployment, and operation.

• Enhance reliability and observability throughout Resend.

• Engage in incident response and convert operational challenges into long-term enhancements.

• Collaborate with engineers across Resend to address infrastructure and platform challenges and develop reusable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform development, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• Extensive experience managing production infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi.

• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, including queues, workers, databases, caching, networking, and load balancing.

• Strong practical knowledge of AWS.

• Proficient in observability and monitoring using tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.

• Comfortable working across the full stack, from load balancers and networking to delivery pipelines.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership, clearly communicate trade-offs, and work independently while knowing when to seek assistance.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Ability to consistently align with working hours in the Americas.
