This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain sophisticated Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
• Convert business requirements into functional applications.
• Provide support for applications related to products, projects, documentation, portfolio activities, and operational workflows.
• Oversee and prioritize the development backlogs for Power Apps and implement iterative enhancements.
• Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and authorized data sources.
• Diagnose application performance, usability, data, and integration challenges.
• Create scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
• Implement application security, permissions, data access, and lifecycle management practices.
• Develop workflows in Power Automate to automate repetitive program tasks.
• Troubleshoot and enhance workflow automations.
• Design and manage Power BI dashboards utilizing various data sources.
• Conduct data transformation, modeling, and validation.
• Produce visualizations for leadership and delivery teams.
• Utilize Azure DevOps as a data source and integration point.
• Create solutions that support portfolio management, delivery tracking, backlog management, and performance measurement.
• Address Power Platform requirements across EIDS and DHMSM.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from various teams to prioritize and fulfill requirements.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining visibility into work, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
• Align applications and reporting with SAFe portfolio and execution principles.
• Provide leadership with insights into priorities, capacity, schedules, dependencies, and delivery.
• Collect and refine requirements with program teams, analysts, product owners, and leadership.
• Demonstrate solutions, incorporate feedback, and fine-tune applications.
• Offer documentation and guidance for adoption and ongoing maintenance.
• Assist teams in transitioning to new applications, reporting, and automated workflows.
• 6–8 years of practical experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions in intricate enterprise settings.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and necessary access to DHA systems and environments.
• Proficient experience in designing and developing Microsoft Power Apps, including complex applications utilized by business or program teams.
• Experience in integrating Power Apps with Power Automate, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and other data sources.
• Ability to troubleshoot and enhance the performance, usability, and maintainability of Power Apps.
• Experience in constructing Power BI dashboards using multiple data sources.
• Familiarity with integrating Microsoft Azure DevOps with Power Platform solutions for reporting, workflow, or metrics.
• Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), especially portfolio and execution concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple development priorities and collaborate across various teams or programs.
• Skill in translating business needs into clear and effective technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be taken into account.
• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate certification is preferred.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification is preferred.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification is preferred.
