Product Engineer – Platform Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications and APIs that support the Board Intelligence platform.

• Take the lead on platform features such as authentication and identity management for enterprise clients.

• Collaborate directly with clients' IT and technology teams to comprehend their requirements and provide constructive feedback.

• Adhere to the security and data protection standards required by regulated financial services clients.

• Utilize Ruby, TypeScript (React), Python, and Java in your work.

• Share knowledge with team members and cultivate expertise in a vital area of the platform.

• Employ AI tools like Claude Code while upholding high engineering standards.

• Deliver support for SCIM API and passkey (FIDO2).

• Contribute code from the outset, assist in launching SCIM and passkey support, and establish yourself as a trusted technical expert influencing platform development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Upper mid-level to senior-level software engineering experience.

• Professional experience with Ruby and at least one additional programming language.

• Strong engineering principles, including system design, testing, and code quality.

• Experience in building and maintaining web applications and APIs in a production environment.

• Comfort in collaborating with clients' technical teams.

• Experience utilizing AI coding tools in daily operations while maintaining high standards.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Nice to have: experience within a regulated enterprise environment, such as financial services.

• Nice to have: familiarity with authentication systems like SSO, SAML, OpenID Connect, SCIM, or passkeys.

• Nice to have: exposure to TypeScript and React, Python, or Java.

• Nice to have: a strong interest in security and data protection.
