Software Engineer, Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, expand, and uphold new iterations of one of the company's offerings.

• Collaborate with development teams to produce comprehensive software and API specifications.

• Implement ongoing enhancements for customers through the utilization of innovative practices and technologies.

• Engage in project planning by estimating and comprehending features.

• Create functionalities as outlined in tasks and activities.

• Establish domain entities and business rules for each defined feature.

• Address bugs reported by customers or the quality assurance team.

• Conduct feature and unit testing to guarantee quality.

• Commit code to the version control repository.

• Adhere to internal protocols utilizing Jira.

• Assist the quality assurance team with testing as needed.

• Aid Sustaining and Customer Success teams with clarifications, participating in discussions and meetings when required.

• Contribute to technical documentation in collaboration with the UX and Product Owner teams.

• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and explore new technologies.

• Write clean, well-organized code.

• Implement more intricate algorithms.

• Generate data to assess application performance using Web Analytics tools.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies.

• Report directly to the Head of Development, Osmani Sadzinski.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the position.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and systems architecture.

• Java 8+ (Intermediate level).

• Spring Boot 2+, Spring JPA, and Hibernate (Intermediate level).

• Experience with RabbitMQ and Keycloak (Intermediate level).

• Understanding of SOLID principles.

• Familiarity with Jira, Git, Docker, CI/CD (Jenkins), and Web Analytics.

• Java OCP certification is an advantage.

• Knowledge of AngularJS or Vue.js is beneficial.

• Familiarity with JavaScript is an advantage.

• Experience with Sonar and CI/CD (Jenkins) is a plus.
