Software Engineer – Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform and manage existing production integrations.

• Take ownership of the integration process from conceptualization to delivery and ongoing upkeep.

• Assist fellow engineers in creating integrations and refining the team's workflow.

• Design evaluations and tests to validate integrations and monitor for regressions.

• Optimize tool descriptions to enhance performance based on feedback and evaluations.

• Actively utilize AI while ensuring accountability for the quality and reliability of delivered work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in shipping production code.

• Proficient in building integrations with external APIs.

• Background in evaluating agentic systems (ideal), or familiarity with evaluations involving prompt engineering and tool-description optimization.

• Capability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

• High level of initiative and a rapid learning ability to drive change.

• Prior end-to-end ownership of projects or systems.

• Strong commitment to the quality and reliability of delivered work.

• Passion for assisting other engineers in achieving success.

• Willingness to maintain at least 4 hours of overlap with the EST time zone during working hours.
