📋 Description

• Enhance and develop Abnormal AI's internal developer platform

• Take ownership of impactful projects involving CLI tooling, CI/CD, shared libraries, and test infrastructure

• Collaborate with Python, Go, Bazel, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI systems to ensure the Golden Path is fast, reliable, and user-friendly

• Design AI-native abstractions and workflows that can be utilized by both humans and AI agents

• Lead multi-quarter projects as an individual contributor

• Work in close partnership with product engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Security, and various other teams

• Create and maintain tools, libraries, and infrastructure that empower over 100 engineers to efficiently design, build, test, and deploy products safely

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a software engineer or in a comparable role

• Expertise in utilizing AI tools to enhance engineering results throughout the discovery, design, implementation, and rollout phases of software systems

• Familiarity or strong enthusiasm for employing LLMs to optimize developer workflows

• Proficient in Python, Golang, Bazel, AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions

• Experience in creating or maintaining CLI tools, scaffolding systems, or internal frameworks for use by fellow engineers

• Background in test data management, integration/E2E test infrastructure, or bad-test detection

• Practical experience in CLI development

• Knowledge of YAML/Jinja2-style templating

• Familiarity with modern type hints and typing discipline, encompassing typing, dataclasses/attrs, or Pydantic-style patterns

• Experience with testing using pytest, Ginkgo, or similar frameworks

• Experience in developing shared libraries and services using gRPC/HTTP

• Capability to author reusable workflows
