📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services that drive CEP's product interface.

• Design and enhance event-driven pipelines, including Kafka consumers and Airflow DAGs, to reliably process email traffic at an enterprise level.

• Operate within a multi-tenant, multi-cloud deployment framework that serves M365 and Google Workspace clients, as well as FedRAMP environments.

• Utilize AI-enhanced development tools to investigate solutions, refine results, and expedite reliable production outcomes.

• Partner with product teams and cross-functional collaborators to swiftly iterate on features that transition customers from legacy SEGs to Abnormal.

• Aid in enhancing service reliability, observability, and operational quality as the team scales its product offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.

• Experience in backend development using Python or Golang.

• Proven track record in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong grounding in computer science principles, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.

• Experience with AI development tools, including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.

• Background in event-driven systems, such as Kafka, SQS, or similar messaging queue/stream processing architectures.

• Understanding of email delivery pipelines, email authentication standards (DMARC, DKIM, SPF), or email security solutions.

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures or enterprise integrations, including M365 and Google Workspace APIs.

• Proven ability to enhance service reliability, observability, and operational tools in production environments.

• Previous experience in cybersecurity, email security, or compliance-related fields.
