Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design and develop secure and scalable fintech services that cater to various financial products.

• Oversee and ensure high-availability of services that support essential fintech operations.

• Execute automated unit and integration testing procedures.

• Maintain a production CI/CD pipeline for contemporary web applications.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, product management, internal stakeholders, designers, and clients.

• Mentor and empower fellow team members.

• Tackle complex technical problems and steer product direction.

• Create intuitive, high-performing applications for TreviPay’s global B2B payments platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience or a B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to actively engage as a member of a distributed development team.

• Proven experience in building modern, secure, maintainable, and high-performance software.

• Knowledge and experience in integrating with APIs and external web services.

• Expertise in Java / SpringBoot frameworks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications on a cloud platform.

• Experience with distributed systems.

• Exposure to AWS or Heroku cloud platforms is a plus.

• Fintech experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
