Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain resilient, scalable applications utilizing C#, .NET Framework, and associated Microsoft technologies.

• Develop and implement unit tests while actively participating in code reviews.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver comprehensive software solutions.

• Integrate and enhance systems within the OneStream ecosystem for production environments.

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues within the OneStream platform, focusing on data integrations and performance optimization.

• Provide continuous maintenance, support, and improvements for existing solutions, APIs, and cloud systems.

• Contribute to DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation.

• Research and define new features and solutions.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering technical excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 3 years of software development experience with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/Framework, and Microsoft ecosystems.

• 1–2 years of direct OneStream development experience, including business rules, dashboards, workflows, data management, and cube design.

• Familiarity with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.

• Knowledge of data integration techniques, including APIs, ETL, REST, and OData.

• Proficient in unit testing, code review practices, and agile development methodologies.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles.

• Awareness of design and architectural patterns.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Ability to analyze and convey technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions.

• Understanding of cloud concepts including elasticity, security, and identity management.

• Preferred experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Lake, Storage, Azure Application Insights, Dynatrace, Blazor, Angular, React, Azure Functions, Container Apps, Batch, or Kubernetes Service.

• Preferred experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical initiatives.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and REST APIs is preferred.

• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps is preferred.

• Experience with OneStream or CPM platforms like Hyperion and Anaplan is a plus.

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.
