Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and maintain software components within OneStream solutions.

• Develop features utilizing established design patterns and best practices with guidance from senior engineers.

• Contribute to user interface development using Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

• Create and integrate APIs and services adhering to RESTful standards and practices.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while ensuring appropriate unit test coverage.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, test creation, and documentation, while validating output for accuracy, security, and architectural consistency.

• Engage in peer code reviews.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects in both development and testing environments.

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and engineering team members to deliver features.

• Adhere to established SDLC, security, and compliance protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.

• Basic experience with contemporary UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.

• Familiarity with JSON and XML.

• Working knowledge of relational databases and fundamental SQL.

• Experience with Git and involvement in CI/CD workflows.

• Capability to write and review unit tests.

• Legally authorized to work in the location of the job position.

• Strong grasp of software development fundamentals and object-oriented design.

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
