Software Engineer – Golang, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute AI inference and model training cloud solutions tailored for Kubernetes environments.

• Create autoscaling inference servers and coordinate distributed training tasks utilizing GPU clusters.

• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable Go code for Kubernetes controllers, operators, and custom resources that support AI workloads.

• Design APIs, CLIs, and developer tools for the deployment, lifecycle management, and monitoring of AI applications.

• Implement serverless container workflow functionalities for AI, ensuring rapid cold starts, resource-efficient scaling, and workload isolation.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, and security with a focus on GPU scheduling, job orchestration, and data throughput.

• Monitor advancements in the Kubernetes ecosystem and contribute to shaping the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Go programming, with practical experience in Kubernetes development, including controllers and operators.

• Profound understanding of Kubernetes architecture, resource management, and container orchestration principles.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes APIs and custom resources (CRDs).

• Solid knowledge of cloud-native technologies and frameworks, such as Docker and Helm.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, paired with a passion for addressing complex challenges in distributed systems.

• Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to excel in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

• Experience with Python programming (considered a plus).

• Background in developing AI/ML pipelines or integrating AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) into Kubernetes (considered a plus).

• Understanding of GPU scheduling and optimization within Kubernetes settings (considered a plus).

• Awareness of security best practices in Kubernetes, including role-based access control (RBAC) and container security (considered a plus).

• Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects or participation in cloud-native communities (considered a plus).
