Software Engineer – Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve Go APIs and workers forming the authentication gateway and request-routing layer for financial transactions.

• Work on flows related to authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, certificates, IDP, SK).

• Maintain and enhance API Gateway plugins to ensure comprehensive resilience and observability.

• Guarantee high availability, performance, and low latency in edge services that manage substantial traffic volumes.

• Engage in the Kubernetes deployment lifecycle, observability, and incident response activities.

• Document all implemented changes effectively.

• Construct and sustain production systems with integrated performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, and resilience across the application ecosystem.

• Perform code and documentation reviews.

• Implement automated testing and adhere to CI/CD best practices.

• Collaborate on architectural decisions, conduct Code Reviews, and provide technical mentoring.

• Address gaps within the architecture and development process while proposing viable solutions.

• Conduct code and documentation reviews.

• Implement automated tests and apply CI/CD best practices.

• Develop software using Go (5+ years of production experience, focusing on highly critical services).

• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, and certificate management).

• Emphasize security, including secrets management, encryption, and hardening of exposed APIs.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and deploying containerized applications.

• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL), non-relational databases (MongoDB), and distributed caching (Redis).

• Ability to work collaboratively with the team on architectural decisions, Code Reviews, and mentoring.

• Experience with API Gateway architecture; familiarity with Kong is an advantage.

• Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS (ECS, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache).

• Previous experience with GitOps tools and practices, including ArgoCD.

• Interest and knowledge in financial markets, payment systems, or payment methods.
