Data API Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the development of PostgREST’s PostgreSQL driver, which is based on Hasql.

• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks within the driver.

• Create new features for PostgREST and address bugs to enhance a multitenant Data API.

• Handle incidents and provide solutions for escalated support challenges.

• Enhance observability and overall performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues within the Supabase platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Haskell with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Familiarity with the C programming language.

• Strong understanding of SQL and PL/pgSQL scripting in PostgreSQL.

• Proven history of contributing to and participating in open-source projects.

• Experience in providing technical support to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.

• Skilled in debugging applications on the Linux operating system.
