Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain microservices and cloud-native applications using Java.

• Enhance and build product features within a modern full-stack development environment.

• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.

• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, automation, and CI/CD practices to boost productivity and software delivery.

• Create and uphold technical documentation.

• Contribute to the sharing of knowledge and promote continuous learning within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Java development with experience in creating scalable, high-quality applications.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude and Cursor.

• Familiarity with Node.js or React.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and the design of cloud-native applications.

• Experience with software testing methodologies, test automation, and writing maintainable, reliable code.

• Competence in working with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated deployment workflows.

• Ability to engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative problem-solving.
