This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Create and develop distributed systems in a methodical manner while participating in significant architectural decisions.
• Tackle engaging technical challenges across areas such as distributed systems, large-scale databases, SQL processing, data modeling, or system performance.
• Take responsibility for components within our blockchain data platform, including data ingestion and decoding.
• Primarily write code in Kotlin and Go, with additional work in Java and Rust, while emphasizing optimal design and performance.
• Enhance the internal developer experience by refining local test environments, integration tests, and incremental deployment processes.
• Continuously seek to improve platform operations by identifying automation opportunities for incident diagnosis and resolution utilizing AI.
• Collaborate with one of the fastest engineering teams in the industry.
• Develop AI agents for automation within the team.
• You are a versatile generalist with a solid foundation in computer science. You leverage this knowledge to easily adapt to new technologies and situations, finding effective solutions to the challenges at hand.
• You possess an understanding of distributed system design, or the eagerness to learn if you are a more junior engineer. Our work involves both understanding and designing systems as well as coding in specific languages.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and RPC interactions is essential.
• Experience with data lakes and formats such as Parquet, Delta, and Iceberg is required.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills are crucial. We operate on the principle that the best results come from effective teamwork and constructive discussions.
• Coding experience in any JVM language, coupled with a passion for writing well-designed, testable software, is expected.
