This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in every stage of the Software Development Lifecycle, encompassing requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Create, develop, and uphold scalable, high-performance, and maintainable applications utilizing Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript.
• Design and enhance database solutions using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Construct and manage cloud-based solutions within AWS GovCloud.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud services and system integrations.
• Collaborate in an Agile setting with product owners, architects, cybersecurity professionals, and DevSecOps teams.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation that details system architecture, software design, and implementation processes.
• Ensure adherence to federal regulations, Department of Workforce policies, and security standards.
• Prepare briefings for executives, status reports, and performance updates.
• Forge partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster a positive, results-driven work environment.
• Possession of an active Top Secret Clearance; Interim TS may be acceptable.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting the complete Software Development Lifecycle, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of secure enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience working with cloud platforms, specifically in AWS.
• Practical experience in developing applications with Java or Kotlin and TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of object-oriented design principles and contemporary development frameworks.
• Proficient in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, including the ability to write and optimize queries while ensuring data integrity.
• Experience in supporting applications within AWS GovCloud or similar secure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture, performance enhancement, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
• Background in code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to self-organize, prioritize, and conduct research across multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Availability to work during core hours of 8am–5pm Eastern Time, with flexibility in scheduling based on time zone.
