Software Engineer – Backend, AI Clips Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance features within Restream's web services.

• Design and build backend APIs alongside the business logic needed for both new and existing functionalities.

• Participate in code reviews by providing and receiving constructive feedback with the team.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies to uncover hidden opportunities within our environment.

• Ensure the redundancy and resilience of Restream's production infrastructure.

• Create new features, design and implement new services, and enhance the reliability of Restream systems as the product and organization expand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language.

• Knowledge of Node.JS (TypeScript) or Rust is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Highly skilled in database design, including both relational and NoSQL databases (such as Scylla and Redis).

• Experience in creating, testing, consuming, and supporting APIs for web services.

• Comfortable working with AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and a continuous deployment workflow across multiple programming languages.

• Basic front-end development skills.

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Self-motivated, analytical, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
