Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and enhance Tilled services.

• Design and create systems that are highly reliable and fault-tolerant.

• Gather and visualize comprehensive telemetry data for ongoing system improvements.

• Uphold high coding standards through practices such as unit testing and pair programming.

• Assume full responsibility for the services you create by consistently monitoring and refining them.

• Foster a collaborative, motivated, and continuous learning culture within the engineering team.

• Engage with the entire technology stack using Typescript, Angular, NodeJS, and Postgres.

• Collaborate directly with the Head of Engineering.

• Contribute significantly to the overall success of Tilled’s business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Must reside in a time zone within the United States.

• Must be comfortable working remotely.

• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• At least 2 years of experience in software development.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with web application frameworks, such as NodeJS.

• At least 2 years of experience with databases, including Postgres.

• Must thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team setting.

• Prior experience with Angular or Typescript is preferred.

• Experience in a startup environment is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AWS is preferred.

• Experience with payment systems like Stripe or Braintree is preferred.

• Experience optimizing production systems for performance, quality, and reliability is preferred.

• Flexible availability between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
