Courseware Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, deliver, and sustain user-facing content for customers.

• Generate concepts and tasks related to networking features, in-product content, installation guides, illustrations, video scripts, course modules, and various other deliverables.

• Work in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ascertain requirements and customer needs.

• Evaluate specifications and product descriptions, providing recommendations for the most effective learning approach.

• Gain insights into the customer experience through direct interaction with networking products.

• Adhere to established style and process guidelines to ensure consistency and completeness.

• Oversee technical documentation projects.

• Simplify complex networking technologies into user-friendly customer content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to create high-quality, precise, and user-friendly technical content, ideally for advanced software products.

• Over 5 years of experience in producing technical documentation.

• BA/BS in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field, along with networking certification or equivalent experience.

• Strong comprehension of cloud computing, automation, networking, data centers, security, or other advanced software technologies.

• Capability to research complex technical concepts both independently and in collaboration with others.

• Experience with XML authoring, content management, and courseware development tools.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a talent for making progress with incomplete information.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance content creation while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with routing, switching, security, network automation, virtual machines, containers, and cloud services.

• Preferred: knowledge of DITA/XML authoring principles, content management concepts, Markdown, MS PowerPoint, Agile, JIRA, HPE Aruba Networking, HPE Juniper Networking, and industry network certifications.
