This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop, test, and provide support for innovative applications and cloud-based solutions that enhance the client platform.
• Design, construct, test, automate, and maintain both infrastructure and application components.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Terraform to deploy software and services.
• Start mentoring junior engineers.
• Evaluate and enhance code performance at the component level.
• Safeguard the security of deployed code and leverage available security tools.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Some familiarity with cloud infrastructure services like AWS, Azure, or similar, including serverless technologies.
• Experience with containerization and associated technologies, such as Docker, Nomad (preferred), or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, including GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with quality assurance, performance testing, and system monitoring tools.
• Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• AWS certifications would be a significant advantage.
