Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and develop applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and .NET.

• Construct and maintain API integrations.

• Engage in solution design discussions and conduct code reviews.

• Execute testing, deployment, and production support tasks.

• Diagnose application issues and defects.

• Develop and uphold technical documentation.

• Play a role in the design, development, deployment, integration, and production support of enterprise applications and automation solutions within the insurance industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• Over 6 years of experience in software development, specifically in enterprise application development.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform, encompassing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.

• Strong development background in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and .NET.

• Proficient in building APIs and integrating enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with GitHub.

• Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform certifications.

• Preferred: Experience with Playwright.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Preferred: Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Preferred: Background in supporting enterprise-scale automation projects.

• Preferred: Experience in maintaining applications in production settings.
