Mid Oracle Developer – Intermediate English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle PL/SQL.

• Create and modify SQL queries based on the needs of applications and project processes.

• Implement changes according to defined requirements.

• Clarify technical or functional questions with the team when necessary.

• Investigate errors in existing processes, identify their causes, and apply corrections.

• Review SQL queries and PL/SQL components with performance issues and make improvements.

• Test the developed changes and review relevant cases.

• Assist in validating changes with QA.

• Document technical changes to facilitate system maintenance.

• Participate in projects with clients from LATAM and the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mid-level practical experience in developing with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Direct involvement in creating or modifying procedures, functions, packages, and triggers used in real projects.

• Ability to read existing code, understand its functionality, and make changes without affecting other processes.

• Experience in debugging errors and reviewing the performance of SQL queries.

• Knowledge of version control and basic practices for testing and documentation.

• Attention to detail, clear communication, and collaboration with other developers and QA.

• Intermediate English required to understand technical documentation and participate in work discussions.

• Located in a Latin American country other than Mexico.

• Remote position for candidates situated in LATAM.

• Full-time availability.

• Experience with transactional systems or processes handling a considerable volume of data will be valued.
