Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs.

• Create and manage frontend applications using TypeScript and Vue or comparable frameworks.

• Design, execute, and maintain code that is well-structured and testable.

• Review pull requests and offer constructive, actionable feedback.

• Troubleshoot, refactor, and enhance existing systems, including legacy components.

• Utilize AI tools for coding, debugging, and documentation tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and address issues.

• Establish and document best engineering practices for the team.

• Take ownership of problems from scoping to release, encompassing new development and system enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in writing TypeScript and modern JavaScript for production applications.

• Demonstrated experience in building frontend applications with Vue.js or a similar framework.

• Background in developing backend services utilizing Node.js.

• Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles.

• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and relational databases.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to learn new systems swiftly in ambiguous problem environments.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring code quality.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AWS, queues, or serverless systems like Lambda.

• Nice to have: exposure to AI-powered or AI-adjacent technologies.

• Nice to have: backend development experience beyond Node.js, such as with Python, Java, or .NET.
