Mid Oracle Analyst Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirements and clarify functional doubts before implementing changes.

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle PL/SQL.

• Review existing processes to understand their logic and assess the impact of new functionalities or corrections.

• Investigate errors and assist in resolving database-related incidents.

• Identify queries or processes with performance issues and propose enhancements.

• Conduct testing of implemented changes and document necessary information to facilitate maintenance.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, and functional users to validate the outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical Mid-level experience working with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Direct involvement in the development or maintenance of procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

• Ability to understand business requirements, ask questions when information is lacking, and translate them into technical solutions.

• Experience in investigating errors and working with existing code or processes.

• Knowledge of version control and basic best practices in documentation and testing.

• Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a willingness to work collaboratively.

• Intermediate English required to understand technical documentation and participate in work discussions.

• Location in a Latin American country other than Mexico.

• Remote position for candidates based in LATAM.

• Full-time availability.

• Experience in systems with multiple business rules or transactional processes will be considered an asset.
